We’re excited to release a brand new mini-game: FISHING! You can play it as soon as you unlock Lake Cave. Just interact with the new sign on the lake pier. Doing so will start the mini-game and add a new Fish Tab to your notebook menu!

(You’re supposed to be able to play this update without needing to wipe your original save. However, we’re aware that some players are experiencing issues when trying to play new updates with their old save files. We're still working on a reliable solution for that.)

Currently, you can catch 3 types of fish, each with its own difficulty level. Once caught, they're recorded in your notebook. That’s all the fish do for now, they don’t have stats or achievements yet, because they’ll be part of a future questline and a cooking mini-game planned for a new character and map.

Of course, all of this depends on whether we’re able to secure funding.

As many of you know, we still plan to continue updating the game with new content. However, if we’re unable to get the funding we need, the project won’t be able to continue. Right now, our efforts are focused on reaching that goal.

We plan to add two more mechanics after this one: the Cat and Treasures. We understand that these aren’t NSFW features, which many of you are here for. As much as we’d love to add more NSFW content, those are more difficult to create without the time and financial stability that funding would provide.

We’ll keep you updated on the game’s future until around August.

In the meantime, we’ll continue working on new updates.
