Is the demo bugged? Can't get the bug net out or open up the settings after the cutscene.
Hey rarlaoky. The demo has some bugs and are currently being worked on for patch. We didn't receive any bug report like yours so can you tell more about the bug so we can try to recreate it and fix it?
Hey, so after the beginning intro cutscene when you load into the game, I tried every button on the keyboard, didn't open up the settings/journal. When I press 2 to get the bug net out, the icon changes to the mouse, but the net isn't pulled out and I can't catch the beetle.

Uhmm, have you gotten to the part where you get the bug net on your bed? If not, the bug is that you actually don't have the bug net yet, but the icon changes in the same way. This week, we'll roll out a new patch for the game.
i went to the bed and its just not there. no icon or anything.
Sorry, I actually said that wrong. The bug net will be on the table in the player room. BUT! You also need to continue the story until the part where Monica gives you the instruction to go get it. It will not appear before that.

so far this game looks like it has a lot of potential!
I think the house is a bit too big for its own good. I think you should remove the outdoor staircase and move it inside where the empty entryway is now to give that room a purpose.
Also the house textures aren't the same art style as the rest of the game, and it makes the house look a bit off (as an example the wood beams on the house aren't the same texture as the wood bench and bridge outside)
PS: please add a mouse sensitivity option

We just released a new demo, and it includes a new house layout (goodbye, outdoor staircase!) and also a mouse sensitivity option in the settings.
